It’s hard to believe, but it’s been four months since we decided to close the Numerated offices in an effort to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19 infections.
Back then, we thought our biggest challenge would be keeping a 55-person startup productive and functional while adjusting to working from home on an indefinite basis. That, of course, was before we ever heard the words CARES Act or Paycheck Protection Program.
Now, at the end of the origination of PPP loans, we’re in a much different place than we could have ever imagined—having partnered with more than 70 lenders to issue Paycheck Protection Program Loans covering more than 2.2M American jobs.
Needless to say, these last few months have been unprecedented and we didn’t want to let this moment pass without reflection.
Over the course of PPP originations we asked the Numerated team to reflect on what the last several months were like. The resulting video above provides just a glimpse at the personal and professional rollercoaster this whole process has been.
Like so many of our customers, we put it all on the line during PPP, understanding that this was one of those rare moments in life where our work could have a major, positive impact on our communities.
We wanted to share these reflections with you, our customers, to give you the chance to hear directly from some of the team members that have been supporting you all this time. While we couldn’t fit every Numerator into our short video, you’ll likely recognize many of the faces you see, while others you’ll be introduced to for the very first time. All of us stood shoulder with you facing the ups and downs of the last several months, and we appreciate the chance to make a difference for your customers and communities.
Thank you for your partnership.
